only holidays, weekend days, and days off can have the ability to become lots more hours! no more hours for work days - too many as it is.
jan is good for introducing a person to new fandoms, isn't he? :) i really want to check out initial d, ever since reading his springkink fic. i do not have time now, but i'm hoping i will this fall, and be able to catch up on some series i've missed this past year.
no no, the working hours need to stay the same, but then there needs to be additional hours so I can do stuff during the week, too! *nodnod*
Jan is very good at pulling me into new/old fandoms. Although, it didn't need much for Initial D since it's been on my mind for years. I don't really have the time, either, but I'm weak. ^^; I'm squeezing in episodes here and there. It just has to work.
Let me know if there's anything I can send to you... in fall. *grins* I have some more J drama, too. ^_~
*perks* oh? j-dramas? which do you suggest? i still have some i need to watch that porc gave me last year at y-con that i haven't gotten to yet. but, i'm always up for having more around. ;)
*grin* I know exactly how you feel. They're like printed crack. Despite how creative she is, her writing style is kind of juvenile, yet I just fall into her books and can't leave until it's done.
I really enjoyed what I read of the Initial D manga despite the Japanese to western name changes in the second volume, but I haven't seen any of the anime. Oh, the video game is fun too though I suck at driving games.
Hm. I'm not sure I would want to read the manga. I think this series lives off the races, and those you really need to see in motion. Or at least I do. It's funny, 'cause I'm not even into watching car races or playing driving games (I suck at them, too...^^;), yet this show draws me in like whoa.
It was actually pretty engrossing in manga form too. I don't generally do car racing either, but there is something about the story that just draws you in.
BUT. There hasn't been a show that had me this excited in a long time. Every episode has me glued to the screen, my heart beats faster during the races and I'm actually nervous as if it was me in there.
[flails wildly] I know! I know! Isn't it insane? I can't...stop...watching!
I had a weak moment and caved in and started to read Anita Blake Vampire Hunter. I really, really should listen to myself. I knew what would happen if I started reading this series. I knew there were 15 volumes so far. I freaking knew I would need more and more and...more.
I just started vol. 4 and the next 4 are on their way to me. *flat look* I so don't have time for this. But it's so good.
hehe, willkommen im Klub.
I did the same. Read all of them except Cerulean Sins in under a week (not counting the time it took amazon to deliver them) XD

^^;
Angefangen hat ja alles mit der Merry Gentry Serie... ~.~
