mrs_spleen tagged me to write a donut drabble. I wrote two.

FANDOM: Prison Break

TITLE: The Morphine of Donuts

She thinks she’s going to have to marry him now. Yeah. What he did definitely deserves a reward. And not just the usual. Driving in the freezing rain 30 miles to the nearest all night Krispy Kreme to get her some donuts definitely deserves something big. The baby wanted donuts and not just any donuts. The morphine of donuts. That’s the way Sara described them when she drove Jane there several weeks ago when she began craving donuts. Sara’s enthusiasm was disconcerting at first. Jane couldn’t understand what the big deal was. A donut is a donut is a donut. Then she sank her teeth into one called the dulce de leche.  The rest, as they say, is history.

“Why do you have a donut shop saved to your phone?” Sara asks looking up from his cell phone.

“In case of donut emergency,” Linc answers in all seriousness.

“What the hell is a donut emergency?” she asks crossing her arms over her chest. This should be good.

“You’re pregnant. You should know all about donut emergencies.”

“So Lincoln are you pregnant, expecting to get pregnant?”

“Make jokes. Next time I go, I’m not bringing you anything back.”

“Fine. They’re just donuts.”

He puts his hand to his heart. Blasphemous. “Krispy Kreme donuts are not just donuts. It’s obviously you’ve never had one.”

Sara doesn’t know whether to laugh or check to see if he has a fever. “Okay, Lincoln. Sorry. I didn’t mean to offend you.”

“Apology accepted. Don’t let it happen again.”

Obvious I have babies on the brain. Anyway, I got the idea for the second drabble from
