Now I know why people have kids. Free labor.

My day is chock full of goodness. First, food shopping. Always a thrill on Saturdays. I just know I'm going to spend most of my time at the deli counter. Fun, fun, fun! Second, cleaning. This includes the three bathrooms, mopping every floor (tile throughout the house) because the pups just love to track in dirt from the yard. They need boots. ( Read more... )

Dude, you have three bathrooms? What the heck for? There's just the two of you right? (Unless you've trained the dogs to use the potty ;-))

Cleaning house is a pain. I wish I needed to clean mine right now to put off my homework, but alas, I just need to get to it.

I wish we could train them to use the potty. It's really 2 1/2 bathrooms just for the two of us. They came with the house.

Hmmmmm? While my kids have reached the free labor age I have to tell you they still make ten times the work I can actually get them to do.

Its off to laundry HELL for me too

My mom's coming to visit me next month, and I'm actually excited about giving my flat a really thorough cleaning before she gets here. I'm kind of OCD and love housework, so her visiting gives me an excuse to do all the twice-a-year type cleaning stuff. I've been itching to do it for weeks but keep holding back, because if I wash the cushion covers on the couch or scrub the baseboards or whatever now, it'll just be dirty again by the time she gets here.

Yeah, I'm a freak.
