pbhiatus_fic2008 Challenge #7 - Life in the fastlane. So I’ve been wanting to write this L/J fic where Jane goes with Linc to get Michael but I’ve been dragging my feet on finishing it. I started it but I need to flesh it out and stuff. I think it needs to be multichap fic and those scare me. You see I haven’t written any in like forever. So this is some dialogue that would be in that fic if I ever finish it.

“Eyes forward Burrows.”
“I wasn’t looking.”
“Uh, uh. Have you forgotten who I am?”
“Like I could forget anything about you.”
“I’m flattered.”
“Don’t be.”
“Oh, that hurts. Twice you’ve hurt me today. Why did I save your life again?”
“Thanks for that by the way. If I didn’t say so before.”
“Just doing my job.”
“You like your job?”
“’Course. Who doesn’t like getting shot at, spying on people, going on long boring road trips?”
“Hey. It’s not like you were my first choice.”
“So you did want to spend time in this SUV engaging in some father-son bonding?”
“Shouldn’t your mouth be too sore to talk?”
“It's going to take more than your big head to take me down."
"Uh uh."
"You know what I meant."
"Can I pretend otherwise?"
