Last night at my house:

Jay: Le, are you alright?
Me: *opens bathroom door with confused look on face*
Jay: I heard you say 'Ow.'
Me: *cocks head to the side* Um, that was like 10 minutes ago.
Jay: I know. *laughs*
Me: It's good to know that if I did hurt myself, you'd come running.

In all fairness he was sleeping and probably thought he was dreaming ( Read more... )

Snatch is an excellent movie, in my opinion at least. The first time I watched it was with other people who had already seen it and could help me through it, and we had turned the subtitles on because yeah, not so much with the accents, this one. It has been awhile since I've seen it, however, so plot wise, um...everyone's after a diamond? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snatch_(film) will do a better job than me, I think.

I usually don't have a problem with accents but this time I was struggling. I'll probably give it another go because I have always wanted to see it.

Snatch LOL. It is a very British movie with very British humor. The accents are quiet strong and nobocy, not even Brad Pitt I think knows what he was saying in it.
Give it another try, it is really good.

Oh last night's event was funny. :P

Regarding the Pit Bulls, I guess it depends on how you raise it. I do understand that their instincts to fight might be greater that other breeds but still... I've known breeds of dogs that are supposed to be angels and can turn out to be quite the opposite. And this doesn't apply only for pets. There's the discussion if you can inherit violence through genes among human beings. In fact, there's an episode from Law and Order Special Victims Unit about it; it's called "Inheritance" from Season 3, I actually watched it yesterday. A pet might not have the urge to stop their rage but as a human being you've got the option.

Sorry can't help you with Snatch, haven't watched it. If you do finish it, let me know if it's worth it.

It's definitely on how they are raised. Once I got my one dog, I did the research and found out "pit bulls" always score the highest on temperment tests than any other breed.

Being able to inherit a violent gene? That's interesting.

I'll let you know about snatch.
