Eh, i'm not a huge fan of Halo. Mostly because it's a console FPS. If it's not on PC, I'm not touching it.

I played it once when it was brand spanking new, and it was the only thing worth getting an x-box for, and even then, it wasn't stellar. Eh. ::shrug::

Whatever floats yer boat. I think I played Halo2 and the controls seemed pretty intuitive once you got used to them and I cut my teeth on PC FPS's. I think if I did end up owning it for whatever reason, I'd have it just for the fun... I don't exactly expect a stirring storyline from my sci-fi shooters. lol
