What would Ms. Manners do?

What do you do when people you don't live near, do not have a working phone number for, and no address decide they are going to delete their facebook? Are you justified in feeling hurt because you are not one of their do called real friends they see every day

I understand completely. I have friends who have begun dropping off of Facebook, and I have no other way to contact them. It sucks. I began using twitter about a week ago in an effort to keep my "net" as wide as possible.

I think people seem to have the perception that I have an old fashioned address book and I can look them up whenever or something. When I've asked people to fill themselves out in something like that though, they say "just facebook me" so I really don't have a lot of contact information. Alas.

I guess that's just how relationships work though. We pass in and out of phase with the people in our lives. It does make me sad sometimes....
I think we're often all so busy and so wrapped up in ourselves that we forget.
