....I don't understand. I mean -- I thought Terry was nice; he was always so very kind, and he remembered to be careful not to step on the mice, and his favorite dessert was rhubarb crumble, and he once sang Thou'rt Like a Lovely Flower so beautifully that it made me weep for hours afterwards! He wasn't a bad person -- at least, I thought he wasn't -- but...how does someone so nice do something so horrible?
