Comment on this post to see what Giselle thinks of your character! (I will, uh, try to be reasonably in-depth; I promise not to just c&p "GISELLE WUVS _____" over and over again. :|)
It may just be her unstoppable optimism, but Giselle thinks Vash is a lot smarter than people give him credit for. (Somewhere, deep inside of him. Waaaaay down deep. Past all the donuts.) (It's in a bit of a patronizing way, though, because poor Vash just gets no respect. even from Giselle. D:) despite that, she does respect him a different sense, because she thinks he is a wonderful and incredibly loyal person with a good sense of humor and an appreciation for dessert that she shares wholeheartedly. ♥
Vash thinks Giselle is an extremely rare sort of person - she might be an adult, but she retains her innocence along with all that optimism. He knows just how easily innocence can be shattered, and that's why Giselle tends to turn his protective instincts dial all the way to the max. Aside from all that, Giselle is a great person to hang out with, plus she makes amazing donuts! ; 3;
Since the cooks spend a lot of time together, Giselle is sort of closer to Tohru and Watanuki than to the rest of the crew, and she thinks of Tohru as a little sister. She probably babies her a little bit, but she really does admire Tohru's cheeriness and diligence, and she respects her both as a chef and a person. 8D although she thinks she could probably sing more. she's certain Tohru has a lovely soprano!
She does think Giselle's a little weird - the singing is nice but not normal, and even Tohru knows about sex, even if she doesn't like thinking about it - but not in a bad way, and Tohru has a high tolerance for weirdness anyway, as long as people are nice. She looks up to Giselle and respects her as the older person (and maybe does see her a bit like a big sister, too), but she does feel kind of protective of Giselle as well, because wow, someone who's more innocent than Tohru must really need it XD
okay, Giselle is a little unsure about Yuffie. xD she does like her, but she's not crazy about Yuffie's methods or her attitude 100% of the time. she wishes Yuffie could just be a bit nicer once in a while -- maybe try a smile and a song instead of a curse and a roundhouse kick to the face?
Giselle admires her strength of character -- she just can't fault anyone for standing up for what they believe in! and when Yuffie isn't, uh, rampaging, she thinks she's a wonderful person. just a little rough around the edges. xD
Aww, well, no worries, I don't think anyone really approves of her--ahem--methods most of the time anyways.
Yuffie can spot a good chef when she sees one and even though Giselle insists on all that damn singing (and those rats too, really, seriously--rats?), she appreciates her for the food she makes. Maybe not so much all that optimistic thinking (cause some of it gets on her nerves, truthfully) but it's kind of an okay distraction from the otherwise extreme of moping and being depressing. All in all? You're cool in Yuffie's book.
...unless you go and stop making dessert. Then we'll have a serious problem on our hands. :|
lol xD the day Giselle stops making dessert is the day HER HANDS FALL OFF. :| ...actually no not even then. she would develop telekinetic powers for the SOLE PURPOSE of continuing to make dessert.
Giselle likes Ffamran! She's so used to meeting oddballs on the Way that it's a little shocking to meet someone so, well, nice n' normal. ..ish. xD She thinks he's a terribly thoughtful person, and someone she'd really like to get to know better, although she feels sorry for him because his captain does not start each day with a song and a dance. :( honestly, he makes her a little flustered (in a good way! xD), because she's never really had anyone pay her attention like that before. ...well, not in such a straightforward and non-creepy way, anyway
( ... )
Let's see ... Ffamran likes Giselle. He finds her honest, earnest and completely unguarded. He's been hurt by love in the past so someone like Giselle is a breath of fresh air. He feels protective of her because he doesn't want her to get taken advantage of. At the same time, he knows he's not good enough for her and he's never going to be able to really love her long term unless he fundamentally changes.
L thinks anyone who likes to give him dessert is alright in his book. He wonders if she's 'for real' because in a lot of ways she's even more 'space mountain' than he is.
Giselle doesn't know Haine very well, but she's more interested in getting to know her now that they've survived death and bombings together and all. (It really brings you closer to a girl, you know?) Overall she thinks Haine has the right idea about life -- approach things with a smile on your face and they're bound to work out all right!
She's a little worried for her safety, what with 1) the whole Haine getting attacked thing and 2) the little bit of her 'I AM BADASS; SAVE YOURSELF' side she saw during the bomb fiasco. She doesn't know about Haine's fighting, but she's worried that Haine might just be a teensy bit of a danger magnet, maybe? Oh dear, hopefully not as bad as Vash is! (Not that Vash is, it's just that some very unfortunate things sometimes happen to him and Giselle would never ever ever want unfortunate things to happen to Haine! golly. D:) actually she'll probably be a bit overprotective after this. xD HAINE YOU STOP DOING POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS THINGS RIGHT NOW OR NO DESSERT FOR A WEEK. >8(
But she has to! Her philosophy (even though she refuses to admit it): DON'T BE STUPID, LET ME BE STUPID FOR YOU. Others before herself, yep yep. SHE CAN TAKE IT. She's tough! :3b
