I rented Closer and Sideways yesterday. I watched the former last night, and the latter this evening.

I had no interest in seeing either and I was able to dodge Megan's attempts to get me to see Closer, but I did end up seeing Sideways. What a horrible movie. It had a few funny parts, but the other 6 hours were absolutely terrible. I'm going on strike from movies that get nominated for Oscars. They all always suck so bad.

I think Megan should rent Closer and watch it on her own, because except for the parts with naked women dancing in strip clubs, you're not going to like it. Trust me.

Did you see The Aviator?

She did rent it. That's how I ended up dodging it :-) She has Netflix and uses it for the movies that she knows I wouldn't want to see.

Didn't see the Aviator. It sounds familiar, but I don't remember the previews.
