A long overdue entry

Well, it's time to give a more serious update of what's happening with us more than just the once-in-a-while complain or whine. I'll just complain that my left ankle still feels sore and heaving it up the steps while carrying Ivry's stroller isn't fun.

Child associations are so cool. And he's so verbal, I'm not at all surprised that he's picked up so many English phrases already!

And hurray for Haim getting a job where his skills and smarts can be appreciated! *sigh* I used to think kibbutzim were utopias, and then I hear about things like this.

Congratulations on the job! I hope it goes somewhere good for him. (The stuff about the kibbutz sounds grim.)

What types of freelance work are you looking for? You might want to inquire at the Jewish Chronicle, the local (weekly) paper. I don't know anything about their pay structure, but they publish stuff not from staff writers fairly frequently, as best I recall. (I'm not in the habit of noticing bylines, I'm afraid.)
