Cars don't like me...

And I don't really like them. I just went driving, which I haven't done for 2 months (dad and I are both busy people!). The sun was absolutely blazing and I couldn't see a thing. I kind of know how you feel. I drove to Melbourne on Tuesday and back on Wednesday. Tuesday was okay, but the traffic was a bit mental on Wednesday (well, to someone who's never driven in Melbourne before). Mum nearly had a heart attack numerous times and I wasn't exactly feeling relaxed either. Lane changes on busy roads are my biggest problem. I can never judge it right. Gotta feel sorry for anyone behind me. And Melbourne roads are nuts. Who decides to put that many bloody narrow lanes in? Maybe I'm just used to the roads around here, but really... can it be right to have about four lanes in a space that here would only have two? We felt like we were going to get squashed (particularly when there was a van or a truck next to us). And I mean, what kind of lunatic puts parking spaces in a lane?

Nup, if I ever live in Melbourne it'll be public transport all the way.

*Sighs* Learning to drive's a bit of a bitch, really, isn't it?
