just looking for some help [i promise next post wont be so boring!]

i was just wondering: i'm looking to apply for new jobs and such. and am really really lost as to what people put on their resumes. also, regarding references [like, contacts they call to check up how you work and stuff] how many would you usually put

For my first job I put this lady that works at my school that's like in love with me for a reference. They never called her. I don't think they really call that much (depending on where you're applying).

I work now as a receptionist at a realty office just on Sundays and get paid 10 bucks/hour to play on facebook/lj, listen to good music, and drink free coffee.
