I feel like such an IUP student. I’m about to write an entry about how I got drunk this weekend. You see I’m really not a drinker; usually I get amused easily enough that being drunk would just be overkill and usually whatever alcoholic beverage is offered to me is one I find disgusting. In fact as of this weekend I only know of one alcoholic

Hee! Drunken e-mailing of your whole class? Infinitely amusing. Definitely more fun than the drunken im'ing that I did with the girl I had a crush on the first time I got drunk. Recently she showed the conversation to me (she had kept it because she found it hysterical), and all the awkward uncomfortableness (that she was apparently unaware of) came rushing back.

Have you gotten any responses back?

Aww, poor drunken IMs to crushes. Are you still friends? I only got a response back from the prof and from one of the teaching aids and they both said something to the affect of 'i'm glad you're so excited about Alison! You're the most excited that I've ever heard of a straight girl being about her" heh.

Porftolio is basically a class to prepare our portfolios for looking for jobs/internships. We have to make a demo reel of our work (I guess I better get some work to put on it haha) and letters of reference etc etc.

lol for their responses! Yea, we're still friends. I've only had any success in getting over the crush in the last like 2 weeks, actually. We're not as close as we were, but that's largely because we're so busy. Also? because my trying not to be obsessed involves a lot of me sitting there thinking "ummmm...maybe I should't im her EVERY DAY anymore..."

Portfolio sounds like an infinitely practical class. I'm kind of jealous.

Well I'm no expert, but maybe you shouldn't. LOL. But hey you should hear about the guys I'm in love with and how wrong for me they are. First there is Jeff, this really cute guitarist who is so religous that I'd shoot myself if we ever dated. Then there's Vince who's a senior in high school. Yep, I like some real winners.

Heh, well I'll let you know how it goes. I'm kind of nervous, my portfolio is going to be much smaller than everyone elses. Oh well, I'll just remember my back up plan: Bollywood X-files.
