I once told myself I would never listen to She and Him because I have a weird thing about Zooey Deschanel having 80 zillion fans just because she's adorable and also a band who has as many covers of 60s pops songs and as they do original stuff probably shouldn't be considered good music. And I don't know if they are, but man I can't stop listening

I don't get the Zooey thing. I don't find her adorable at all. Slightly less grating than say Miley, but not much. *shudder* But if their music makes you happy, go for it. :P

Ha, that's the thing. While I find Zooey D. considerably more taletned than Miley and I don't think grating is the word I'd use to describe her I don't find her freakishly adorable either. Her youtube videos all have comments like "How can you not fall in love with her" and "You can just hear her smile!" She comes off as kind of flakey/ditzy to me.

Then again I do like her sister and I do like some of her music. LOL, I don't make a lot of sense do I?

Ha. I think part of it is she looks exactly like a dark-haired slightly anorexic version of my evil bitch of an ex-roommate who thought she was all adorable too. So that doesn't help her case. I've never found either of them talented, but that's just my own opinion.

As Tim would always say, that's why god made chocolate and vanilla! :P

In general though, I also think you're a better judge of people, whether they are famous people are not than I am.
