So I'm about to post another set of textures on mosaically, but am torn between the style of the teasers.  I made 2 prototypes but am not sure if either is quite right.  What do you guys think?

Personally, I think you should keep the black but make the squares all kinds of different colors. Or tiny little colorful icons!

Is that even possible though?

It is definitely possible, and that makes a lot of sense. I ended up realizing that I wanted white instead of gray or black and ended up with this. Somehow the white seems less overwhelming.

I prefer the black. It helps the colors on the textures stand out more.

Thanks so much! That's what I was thinking, but I realized white was a little less overwhelming.. or at least I hope so.
