It's the end of November, and that means I've been hearing Christmas music every time I leave my house for about a month already. Of course, that includes the perennially creepy "Baby, It's Cold Outside". I mean, Christmas isn't Christmas without a nice holiday date rape anthem, right? Yeah, the idea that a woman saying yes if she wants to is a bad thing is another part of that fuckery.

It's kinda like the "walk of shame" notion that, I notice, is almost always used with reference to women instead of men. When she's leaving his place, it's a walk of shame; if he leaves hers, he's...going to work/school/home/etc.

Well yeah, only women are supposed to feel shame for sex. When it's so apparent that that mentality requires sex to be something coerced, tricked or cajoled out of woman, of course there's a loser and a winner in the equation.
