Adolescence in the age of the Internet...

I think I take solace in knowing that the next generation will be even dumber about it probably. I just have lj interests, a locked blog, some meetup groups, and an inactive old okcupid profile... -- they have "sexting."

I started posting friend-only mostly a while ago for my own protection. It was pretty gratifying that when my current employer attempted to find information on me, they didn't come up with much and nothing incriminating at that.

Your LJ is pretty good, because while there's a good chance I may have met you (through one of our mutual friends), I have no idea who you are;)

Mine's been friends-only for a long time, but it was creepy to google my nickname and find out that it can go to lj pretty easily. I had pictures of my face pretty clearly.

i searched anhiferd and it took me to some site that linked to a private post of mine. if i'm not logged in, it defaults to a login page, but that's still fucked up. it even has an excerpt from the supposedly "private" post. hoh well.
