I've got a longer essay working right now on things in Lebanon, Israel and Palestine, but it still needs some work. Well, even if Lebanon is predominantly Sunni/Christian, the Shiite minority is 40%, which is still pretty huge/significant.

could it push for some internal changes of an organization that essentially functions as Hamas does in Palestine? Whether this is a good or bad thing (Iran's funding, more proxy-state usage, etc) is added to this, but generally, could there be a structural change of the way Hezballah operates because of this course of actions?

Off the top of my head, I'd say no. They've been a big part of government for a while now. Pressure to reorganize met with heel-digging, and I don't see how somewhat deeper inclusion in government will change this. But hey, I've been wrong before.
