Merry Christmas!

Honestly this isn't exactly a season very special to me unlike many others. This Christmas, I don't know how I should feel. I haven't gone to church for a few weeks and only watched part of the Christmas online. I feel so far away from Christmas, so far away from the joy that many people were looking forward to. I, too, feel as though Christmas is less meaningful in the feelings department. Like you, I understand being numb to the merriness of this time of year. And I am so sorry to admit, like you, that my deep-rooted Christian joy in Jesus is hardly expressed. Take care, though. Take refuge in receiving again what has been being given since before you were born: Christ. Freely receive the gift of perfect love with complete understanding of your situation. And let us all find true peace in the one who is Peace. Then, perhaps, we will feel the true Joy that is meant for all people. Ok. My soap-box moment is over. Oh, yes.
