they stole from hawaiians, and he "borrows" and gives them back to the people.

The UC system "borrowed" a lot of culturally sensitive objects (including shamanic devices and whole bodies of Yurok peoples) and has been in a legal battle over returning them.

man these people really have some nerve! I mean where do they get off saying that is property of anyone else. They can argue what they want, but fact still remains that at that point Hawaii was not even a state yet so they can't say it was disposed or public property. Ugh I dunno.It's so frustrating to read all this. People are so rude. But well they always make Hawaiians out to be all happy go lucky, all this "no bad days" and completely masking any sort of turmoil for them. Most people have no clue anything like this even goes on.
