Twenty-five years and five children together - long. You'd think that would be enough to hold everything together but clearly it wasn't. it's difficult, but staying together has proven to be more difficult. Impossible, even.
Thank you so much for the hugs. *Hugs you back for basically a long time*
My parents were married for 21 years (though just the one kid) and my mom left but she had such a hard time letting go that they got remarried after a couple years--and divorced again shortly thereafter. So, if you know you can't be together I totally don't recommend that, but I can see how it's hard to adjust when you've been with one person pretty much forever.
Of all people, I know you truly get where I'm at -- and I am so grateful for that. And believe it or not -- it brings me great joy when I read your little snippets about your own married/home life -- like, the right things/people/relationships can and do work out when it's meant to be. If that makes any sense.
You! How much I've missed you and our fic exchanges. I can't even tell you. Thank you so much for your kind offers and just for being you. You've truly been a blessing to me over the years and continue to be one : )
