Aaaaahhhhhhh, and here we go. The bewildered exhaustion, the flinching grief, the ptsd that lurks just under the surface, the depression that's making everything grey.

And then this *dream*, which is grotesque and unnerving and so, so unfair, when it used to be a comfort.

I had a lot of fun with varying the narrative tone, if that makes sense. Victor's thoughts start out so clipped and monotone because he's still in such deep shock. As he gets more comfortable, it flows a lot easier :D. Oh, I'm so glad you're enjoying it!!
