I hate sunburn. Yesterday I was on the bus with my sister and I got sunburn in my face from just sitting in the bus, and that even though I had put SPF 25 on!

Oh no! I hate when that happens! I get really paranoid about my face - it gets red really easily. I think it's easier to get burned if your inside a car or something ...

Hey, how are you? I haven't talked to you in ages. I dropped off the WWR and LJ planets for a while! Anyway, I hope you're well, and I hope your sunburn heals and turn into a nice tan. I am currently so pasty white, I glow in the dark. Irish, British, and German, not a good tanning combination... I just burn.

I've been good, how about you? Yeah, I dropped off the WWR a long time ago too ... I only keep up with a couple people from there. Lol normally I am the same pasty white! Irish, German and Portugese, although the Portugese part didn't seem to contribute anything but my last name. I don't have any hope that I'll actually tan ... just the burning going away would be really nice! But I hope you're doing good, and I'll talk to you soon :).

SQUEEE over your new icon!!! I love it!! Did you do it? I want something nifty like that (no, I want THAT one, I'm still cracking up over Lupin holding the world's largest Hershey bar, and well, you know Snape probably would just kick his butt and take it anyway because we Slytherins are like that...not)

Use lots of aloe vera gel and the burn will, um, burn less (gee, I'm so articulate). The pure gel is best, get the green if it makes you happy.

Re your cookie:

WAIT JUST A DARN MINUTE!!! Now that Remi-Chan is gone, THIS is what you do to Siri-Love???:

You rub Buddha's belly, not his head," ****Sirius**** said.

I'm hoping this was a typo!!! If not, you DID stay in the sun too long! :D

Lol isn't it fantastic?? I love that icon. Every time it shifts I hear them, all petulant: "NO!" Like a little kid going "Nuh uh!" Unfortunately, I didn't make it ... whoever made it is credited in my keywords. Feel free to take it.

Also, I don't understand what made you upset ... what did I do to Sirius? I am very confused. Did I get it wrong about where you rub Buddha (and I don't mean that in a pervy way)? *.*;;

Hi! I'm a newbie :) I have no funny stories or random jokes at the moment but as soon as I think of one, I'll come back and post it. I can be quite random and silly on occassion but sometimes it doesn't quite come across very well on the net.

Oh your cookie, I'm already drooling for the next chapter now, thanks. :)
I love your similie about Draco and the cracked porcelain doll and isn't it just like Harry to like that sort of thing?

Being sunburnt sucks! Unfortunately I have to get red before I get tan. I have no idea why it works that way. Most of the time I avoid the sun.

Anyway, I hope it gets better soon!

Hello newbie! My favorite joke nowadays is:
Q. How do you hide an elephant?
A. Paint his toenails red and stick him upsidedown in a bowl of ketchup.

Very silly. Heehee, glad you liked the cookie. I loved the Buddha thing, no idea why. I get burned easily too ... I'm way too German and Irish for tanning! I am sorry that you get burned as well :).

hehe that is very silly!

I'm half-german and have a bit of Irish in me as well, so I can relate.

The Buddha thing is great.. it seems to fit really well there but I can't tell you why either :)

Hi. I'm one of those people who just friended you. I would have before, because I loved Casualties, but I only got an LJ yesterday. The Spinning World looks really promising, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of it. Thanks for the cookie.
(And, as Baz Lurman says: Wear sunscreen. If I could offer you one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it.")

Hee! Hello there! I'm very glad to meet you, and so glad to hear that you liked Casualties :D. Thanks for the tip about sunscreen ... I'm from a beach town, and one would think that I'd know better, right? I went and did the same thing the next day and burned my shoulders. **sigh** Maybe we just get arrogant and go "Only tourists get sunburned! I know when to get out of the sun. Ha ha ha!"

Or something.
