So tonight I was fired for the first time. Ever. It's not so bad, I have something else lined up and was planning on discussing with my (ex)current employer about how to proceed so that I could continue part time as a fallback (the job lined up is "temporary" and also not official yet). But it still sucks getting "let go". They used the term

I wouldn't let yourself get too upset about being prematuraly terminated (I mean I would, but I'm a self-hating shame psyco, so Don't do what Donnie Don't does). It sounds like they were just looking for any excuse to let you go early, save some scratch and all. Don't see it as a judgement of any kind against you.
