Today has been peachy. I went to the mall and found the most perfect little black dress for the spring fling tomorrow. I know the music will be really crappy rap, but I think it'll be fun anyway. Before the dance I'm going out to eat with some friends at the Olive Garden, so that's nice. I love me some chicken marsala

c'mon han, i know you can do better than that. imagine me saying that in a cheering-on sisterly way, not a scolding, motherly way. i know math's always been hard for you, but you're much smarter than you give yourself credit for. keep trying, i know you will bring it up. as for guitar, i find it hard to fathom that your teacher even knows enough about you to give you a 45, but i'm sure he's given you his reasons. so just try to play by his rules. they might be (are) incredibly stupid, but he still holds the power to give you what he wants.
i know it's hard to stay motivated, especially when your classes aren't fun or easy to understand or your teacher acts like even HE doesn't care what you're doing. i know ANYTHING is more fun that studying, but i hope you'll work harder, do better, and i really really hope you'll feel good about the work you do when you really concentrate on it and made a concerted effort to make an improvement.

I know I can do better too... lately I just haven't been sutdying for anything at all. But I'm really going to start working harder and bringing my grades up, because I like feeling good about my grades , and lately I've been feelin' pretty crappy about them. I know it's my fault, and I know there's no one else to blame but me for my laziness. But I really am going to do well in all my classes this six weeks :)
