We are having a major snow storm! It's been a long time since we've had something like this. We had a big storm over the weekend and all this snow is falling on top of what was already there. I quite like it, because we don't often see snow like this anymore. It's pretty, but I'm a bit concerned that we might lose power. The lights flickered a few

It was fun while the snow was falling, but now I'm in a hotel because my power is out at home. I'm just trying to make the best of it though!

Oh, no! I hope the power will come back on soon!
Obviously the power is on where your hotel is, but I wonder what happens if the power outage goes on for a long time & in a wide area, in the weather like that. I assume people have heating system that does not rely on electricity there, but...

It's more snow than we've had in ages! I love snow in the midst of the storm, but now it's just a pain in the ass. I almost crashed my car on the road tonight, and I have no idea when the power will be restored. Chillin' in the hotel for now...

Well I'm hanging in a hotel room for now. I tried to stick it out at home but it got down to 57 degrees in the house (power is out) and I really wanted a hot shower! We might not have power for another 24 hours!! :(

Tell B I'll check the HBO schedule here... The Shining would be a welcome distraction right now!

Looks indeed like a lot of snow. Here's been snowing loads too, yesterday and today, and, apparently, it will keep snowing until Saturday.

You guys have had a very snowy winter! We haven't had much snow here in recent years. I like the snow because it makes cold weather more fun, but it's just a big pain in the ass now. Bring on the Spring flowers!!
