Uri, My Dear Son
By David Grossman

Uri Grossman, the son of Israeli novelist and peace activist David Grossman, was killed on August 12, 2006, after his tank was hit by a Hezbollah missile in Lebanon. A few days earlier, David Grossman had criticized Israel's expanded military operations in Lebanon and urged for seizure of hostilities.
