With graduation only a few days away, they had been avoiding talk about their summer plans. Kevin had already told his parents that he'd be arriving a few days after. He had yet to tell Hannah the same.

Sitting quietly down beside her he took on her demeanor as he focused on the water for awhile before speaking.

"I'm going to the states after graduation," he decided to just come out and say it.

Hannah got up and shook her hands a few times to rid of them of the moisture.

"To visit your parents?" Hannah asked. "How long will you be gone?"

Kevin turned his attention from the wather and began to fiddle with a blade of grass. Plucking it from it's stalk, he slowly pulled it into strands. Holding the varied strands in the palm of his hand he showed them to Hannah.

"I don't know how long I'll be there," he ran a finger through the loose pieces. "My family's kind of like this blade of grass. We've been split by no cause of our own and we need to be," he closed his fingers around the shreds then took out his wand and said a simple reparo. When he opened his hand, the grass didn't look anything like it did before it was picked, "given a chance to repair ourselves."

Hannah was strangely calm. She understood his need to see his family but at the same time, her heart started to break.

She stared at the blade of grass. "Yes, I see." She cleared her throat and then looked up at Kevin. "Will you come back?" she said when she knew her eyes said, Will you come back to me?.
