i stood outside a moment ago blissfully occupied with composing poetry in my mind about the welcome rain shower that was occurring all around me. i am sorry to report that none of it was any good.

"refreshing traffic of the heavens"? shoot me in the pate with a ballpoint pen!

i need to go and eat another raspberry tart.

It just started raining here this morning.8) The last precip was weeks ago so it's much needed after the recent heat wave. Stopped in at the local corner store on Sat. (D__ wanted a slush drink) and everyone has dark brown tans already as if it's the middle of summer.

Did you get any thunder?
