so sorry i'm not around more oft' - but very soon i'll only be working 3 days a week and you'll have a sister [and her boy sometimes!] and a kitten and birdies to keep you unlonely.
i know lonely is different from alone, though. [enjoy the former*]
not a problem! you can't help housesitting. i ate the rest of that smarties candy bar jon brought back... hope you don't mind. *winks shamelessly*
yup, i'm enjoying being alone as well. right now i'm reading the secret garden aloud to the little budgies. i just really liked that quote so i stuck it down. one of these days i'll get my paws on a book of lampman's poetry.
thanks for the hand comment! they aren't really that good but i do like those 7B and 8B pencils you gave me (mighty fine graphite on 'em)
oh! and did you hear the sufjan stevens song on the o.c.?! i was very excited when i heard the guitar come in and i knew it right away. (you've got the cd over there right now, don't you? O_o )
hmmm... true enough... but he can't maim me or he would fall out of your favour (or at least i should hope he would ;)
i just grinned stupidly and gave a little squeal. and there may have been clapping of hands. one minor thing, though... this morning i tried turning on the television to keep tasma company and i accidentally hit the button twice and the screen went black and made a strange ticking sound at intervals. i ended up unplugging it... there's a chance it may not live (maybe it was just a wire or a circuit or something). i'll check it again tonight (thank goodness the o.c. got taped!)
really? cool! i haven't gone up because each time i remember, i'm hiding in my room and don't want to get tasma's hopes up that i'm coming out to play with her.
it occurs to me that i'm not too worried about replacing it.. as i said before, i could put the o.c. down anytime, and movies/dvds/viddyogames can wait for me. [i'm not sure how *you* feel about that, though..]
