After listening to Sarah Slean's new album, I'm pretty sure that she tried to make herself more accessible.  Magic was lost in the process.  Having said that, there are some tracks that spark due to their simplicity... but it feels like something's missing ( Read more... )

I totally agree that this album is less quirky. However, I remain, as ever, in love with the new work.

I guess my experience with Cabaret was soooo different. Maybe I treated it too much like unpaid work or maybe I was treated poorly from the start and those feelings were just heightened.
I'm glad it's over. I know if I ever re-apply, it'll be for something OTHER than stage manager. We're such a mistreated people haha
I'll also be asking "are you dating anyone in the cast/crew/FRO?" hahaha it will be a huge factor :P
