WOW! Awesome job! I love it! This is pretty much exactly how I pictured Hank reacting to Karen's rejection. And you've SO got his voice down pat, especially in the last bit there.

I was watching California's Son last week and I was trying to figure out what was going through KAREN'S head. How in the world could she be such a bitch to him after SHE cheated on HIM? You'd think she'd be a little bit more sensitive with his feelings. Anyway, I guess we'll see what happens next season!

Thank you. I'm really feeling the angst lately! For some reason, I find it's what I write best - it's more 'me', if that makes sense. Humour tends to be out of my league. Besides, they always say to stick to what you know.

Hank makes my heart hurt.

Hee, thanks! It might be a bit too much David, if there is such a thing, but I'll stick with it for now. I'm waiting for season three promo pics before I do much else.

Oh my. This was...well, this was impactful. It hurts, in a good way. You really have nailed Hank.

And the disjointed? Totally works.

but Karen, ever the musician at heart, certainly strums his pain with her fingers. I'm hearing Roberta Flack in my head.

(p.s. Love you new DD/Hank pics for your layout...but I miss the ashtray.)

This sounds wrong, but I'm glad to hear it. That's what I was hoping for but with a thousand word limit you never know what you can get out of it. Also pleased to hear the disjointed works.

Aw, I'm sorry. I miss it too. I tried fitting it in but it didn't suit the new graphic. Knowing me, though, I'll change it again in a couple of weeks/months, so it's bound to make a comeback at some point.

I love this. It's spot on in pretty much every way and the language you use captures how Hank feels really well.
