Yeah, something called a Dream Gate. I tried to learn more about it before, but I didn't really get much from the people.

They just kept saying that's how we came into Somarium, but it was broken at the time so we couldn't leave.

I don't know about you, but I didn't see any sort of gate when I arrived.

Who were you trying to get information from?

Me neither. Then again this whole past week was just plain weird.

Oh, the people that were running around.

Several of them tend to be.

What sorts of people were they? Are they still around?

They were actually kinna different from the ones that are here now. From what I could tell, they're gone, too.

But none of them would explain how it works? I wonder if they knew themselves.

I'm pretty sure they did since they were working on it. But all they would say is that was how we got through it and how we can leave, and that was why they were trying to fix it.

They also kept calling everyone who wasn't under that weird effect "visitors", like having other people from other worlds was common.

Well, it can't be too uncommon. There are a lot of visitors from other worlds here.

I suppose most research is secret before it becomes public by nature. Still. So many things in this world could use a cease and desist, but I'd settle for an explanation.

True. I just didn't expect it to be common back then. Maybe one of those machines started up again and that's how we got here now? [well it's a thought at least]

Haha, I'd be game for that. We got some answers, but it definitely left us with even more questions.
