Title: The child in Jin
Pairing: Akame
Genre: Fluff, Crack
Rating: PG
Summary: Jin is sick, and had insisted to not go to the Doctor’s despite his weak conditions, just letting his sweet boyfriend take care of him of whatever free time he have. However Kame got a big shock when he entered their bedroom late at night to see a young toddler staring back at him.
Note: Something that I started in November 2006, but never did I complete it. It was meant to be a one-shot, too long for one though. I won’t be x-posting this anywhere, well not for the moment, coz this storyline is simply weird.

“I’m so tired! The shooting of the drama ended up later than I expected.” Kame yawned, stretching his arms sleepily, as he headed towards their bedroom, the key left on the table in the living room.
Entering the dark bedroom, he smiled, thinking that his lover had gone to sleep and without thinking, immediately plopped down to their bed, his action not left unnoticed by the figure beside him.
“A - me! ~” He felt a hand touching his shoulder, shaking it gently, “Ame!” Somehow the hand touching him feels so small, he wonders why.
“Ame!!” he heard that voice again.
Heaving out a soft sigh, Kame rolls over to face his intruder, his eyes still closed as he said this, “Jin, sweetheart, I’m so tired and I really need all the sleep I can get. So please don’t disturb me, okay?” He peek his eyes opened.
Kame blinked at the sight in front of him.
“Ame?” Small pure brown eyes stared back at him, his hand wanting to reach him making Kame flinch, and moved a distance from the said boy.
Looking elsewhere but the small toddler, he muttered in his breath, “What the hell is happening? Is this some kind of a joke?” He looked up again, taking every form of the boy, suddenly realizing why he seems so familiar.
This boy ... is none other than Jin! He still remembers his boyfriend as a young child, looking by the album photos that Jin showed him. Every little details of the toddler reflect the similarities of a young Akanishi Jin.
How can such an impossible thing occur?
“Ame don’t like?” he heard some sniffling, looking up to see his Jin rubbing his eyes sadly.
A smile lifts on his face as he closed the distance between them, pulling the toddler gently into his arms and onto his laps, hugging the said boy affectionately, “Sorry, sweetheart, took me some time to process things. Did I ever tell you that you’re so cute when you were a child, Jin?”
The young boy shook his head, pouts a little but perks at the mention of it, “Jin is cute? Really?”
Kame chuckled, pulling Jin closer, “Hmm, Jin is so cute, really cute. Now let’s make a trip to the bathroom before going to bed. It’s really late.” He carried the small form so naturally.
“Bathroom?” the small voice asked innocently.
Even when Jin turned into his younger self, somehow deep inside, the memories of his present self still lies with him. It’s just that he could only do what all 3-year-old kids could. There is no such thing like a 3-year-old thinking and talking like a 22 year old.
“Jin! Are you sure you’re a kid?” Kame could not help but retorted back, closing the bathroom door behind him.
---- ` ----
He pats the younger toddler to sleep, and when he managed to do that, he gazed lovingly at the younger Jin sleeping soundly.
“Sweet dreams, my precious Jinjin.” He huddles closer, holding Jin dearly, as he too slowly drifts off too sleep.
Tomorrow, Kame will call the other members to discuss about this issue. For now, it’s some quality rest time together.
An image of an adult, hugging close a young toddler, so much like a father and son, when in fact, they’re actually lovers.
How ironic the situation seems to be.

“Jin, are you sure you’re going to be okay by yourself? Maybe I should just take a leave as well …”
Jin shakes his head as he sneezed yet again, the tissue pressed on his nose, as if waiting for the cue for the next one.
“Achooo! Don’t, Kame. You don’t have to do … Achooo!!” He threw the used tissue into the wastebasket as he quickly placed another piece of tissue onto his nose.
“Maybe I really should take a leave. I can’t leave you alone like this, Jin!” his lover sat beside him, on the edge of their bed, looking worried as ever.
“No, you can’t. You’re needed on the set. Remember the responsibilities that you hold, the shooting could not start without you, the main lead.”
Kame pouted, “But you’re my responsibility too, and I should take care of you when you’re sick, right? The cast could just shoot the scenes that do not involve me.” He didn’t want to give in to his lover’s request.
“I know you’re worried about me but I assure you that I will be alright by my own. I’ll wait till you get home.”
“But Jin …”
“I won’t move about unnecessarily, I’ll just stay in bed. I promise to call my family members if I feel worse than now, okay?” he held his lover’s hand with an assuring smile, “Go to work.”
Convinced by these words, Kame finally relented and nodded.

T-TUN stood outside Kame and Jin’s apartment for a moment as early as 7 in the morning, waiting for the door to be opened after Koki had text messaged him saying that they’ve arrived. The youngest member had apparently warned them beforehand to come together, and not ring the bell, instead send a text message.
“This better be good.” Koki murmured, leaning his head against the door, “I’m still so sleepy.”
“Koki, you better not place your head on the …” Ueda began, stopped when the door opened wide, as a very sleepy Koki tumble into the apartment, crashing into Kame prevented him from falling flat to the ground.
“Koki, are you okay?” Kame whispered, letting his friends inside his apartment, settling themselves into the living room.
Koki, of course, was the first to get to the comfortable sofa.
Junno smiled brightly, patting his shoulder, “He still feels sleepy. He can’t even open his eyes. See?”
“I’m awake!” Koki retorted, immediately sitting up straight, but soon after found himself leaning comfortably against Nakamaru who did not protest but just smiled at the small action made by his friend.
“So Kame … Care to explain why we need to be here at …” Ueda glanced at his wrist watch to check for the time, “7.05am. Knowing you, you won’t call us unless it’s really important, right?”
All eyes locked onto Kame.
“You guys probably won’t believe me but Jin miraculously turned into a 3 year old kid.” He whispered, scared to know their reactions.
“What?” All four exclaimed at the same time.
---- ` ----
“That is Jin? Oh my god!” Koki exclaimed loudly, yes the same Koki who was so sleepy a while ago now had his eyes opened wide, earning himself a good hit on the head by Kame.
“You’re too loud! You’ll wake …” Kame turned to the direction of the bed when he heard a soft cry, “Jin up.” He glared at Koki dangerously, before walking towards his Jin.
Jin was already awake, rubbing his eyes rather sleepily. He starts to cry when he realized he was alone in the bed.
“Hey, sweetheart, don’t cry. I’m here.” Without wasting any moment, Kame carried the boy to his arms, coaxing the small one back to sleep, with soft patting on the back.
T-TUN looked at the two in amazement, realizing that Kame would definitely be a good father in the future if he wasn’t involve with … uh, Jin.
“He is so cute.” Junno couldn’t help but voice out his thoughts, watching the beautiful scene in front of him. It was weird seeing Kame holding Jin like that, for it was practically the job of the older one.
After all, Kame is the girl in the relationship, and Jin is the strong built man protecting his love dearly. Looking at this particular scene, it’s twisted and just simply beautiful. No words are needed for this one beauty moment.
“Hmm, can you all leave this room for awhile?” Kame whispered, as his eyes motions to the sound asleep toddler on his arms.
Following Kame’s eyes movement, they understood, getting out of the bedroom immediately, and into the living room.
---- ` ----
“What are we going to do? I don’t even know how he turned to a toddler at the first place! What to do? What to do?!” The other members looked at him in surprise, he was calm and collected when they arrived an hour ago but now Kame is turning more panic in mere seconds, one can tell as he kept pacing front and back, his eyebrows burrowed in worry.
Ueda sighed, massaging his head lightly due to a headache caused by Kame’s action and at the situation they were all in right now. “Kame, stop walking, will you? Take a seat here, we should discuss about this rather than go about panicking. Nothing will be solved if we all act that way.”
Glancing at Ueda, he pondered for a moment, sitting down next to him and actually breathes normally.
“You’re right. But … what are we really going to do about this?”
Not knowing what to reply, Kame simply shrugged his shoulders. The others had the same expression on their faces, clueless to their current situation.
---- ` ----
In desperate times, Kame had called up Jin’s younger brother to look after him since he just couldn’t get the time off to do so. As much as he would love to take care of the small toddler, he couldn’t, as he was busy with the drama shooting. He would only be available in the evening, and his leave would only be in a day’s next time.
“That is my elder brother?” Reo blinked, staring at the smaller frame playing in the living room with his toys, totally oblivious to his presence. “I thought you were joking when you told me on the phone.” He whispered in awe.
Glancing at the direction Reo was looking at, Kame couldn’t help but smile. “Well yeah, it’s hard to believe it at first, like how is it possible. But he’s so cute.”
Letting out a chuckle, Reo nodded. “It feels different when the position’s changed. It’s hard to believe that I’m actually younger.” He immediately walked towards chibi Jin, sitting beside him, with Kame watching in amusement.
“Hello.” Reo patted his shoulders gently, catching his attention, and when Jin looked up at him cutely with blinked eyes, he continued. “Do you remember who I am?”
“E-O!!!!!” Jin shrieked loudly, his eyes opened wide as he lunged towards his brother, Reo was not caught on guard as his small hands encircled around his neck. “E-O, carry!”
The tone that Jin used was demanding yet playful at the same time.
“Yes, onii-chan.” Reo replied sarcastically, but he let out a laugh soon after. With such an easy effort, he swiped Jin off the ground and carried the light weight on his arms, walking towards Kame who was getting ready to leave the house. “Say goodbye to your lover, onii-chan.” He teased.
It feels weird calling a toddler your elder brother though.
“Bye bye.” Jin simply said. His lips came to a pout knowing that Kame would have to leave him. Seeing this cute expression, Kame ruffled his hair gently. “I’ll be back soon. Today’s shooting is only for a short while.” He coaxed the little one.
“Pwo-mise?” Jin asked.
“Promise.” Kame nodded, kissing him on the cheeks. “Thanks, Reo.” He said, walking out of the apartment.
“Sure, no problem.” Reo glanced at Jin. “You’re my precious onii-chan after all.”
Jin clapped his hands as he giggled, agreeing to that sentence that was being spoken.

Entering his apartment, Kame was surprised to see that there were more guests. His silent apartment suddenly fills with noise, rowdy with the adults crowding around the toddler Jin.
Taking off his shoes, his eyes widened in surprise at the gifts on the dining table, murmuring, “Clothes … Diapers … Toys … Food …” His mouth opened slightly at the generosity of his friends. He kind of need all those.
“Ah, Kame! You’re back!” Koki exclaimed. Everyone followed his glance at the same time. Noticing that Kame was looking at the stuff they had bought. “You’re busy so we bought it for you.”
“Thank you.” He replied awkwardly, looking at all the stuff that takes up his dining table space. “… But don’t you guys think you bought too much?” Kame raised his eyebrow when met with a grinning Koki.
“You don’t know for how long you might need those so … just in case.” Koki winked, returning back to playing with toddler Jin. Kame simply pouted hearing that from his friend, as much as he loved the chibi version of Jin, there’s no other better than the real adult version of Jin.
“A-me!” Jin interrupted suddenly, his hands reaching for Kame, the moment he noticed his presence. Despite being turned into a toddler, his feelings for the other remain the same. It’s funny how that sounds … a toddler in love with a young man.
Ironic, isn’t it?
“Yes, yes …” Kame chuckled, rushing towards the cute little Jin, swiping him off the ground with ease, as he held him firmly to his chest. “Did you have fun today, Jin dear?” He looked at him sweetly.
“Hmm!” Jin replied enthusiastically, leaning his head on Kame’s shoulder. “Ame, I’m hungry.”
Kame frowned suddenly as he threw a glance at his friends, who were apparently busy playing with video games. “You guys didn’t feed Jin his meal?”
“Well, Jin didn’t want to eat anything we offered him.” Koki replied, “I guess he’s waiting for you to come home, Kame.”
Looking at the boxes of pizzas and junk food on the coffee table, Kame muttered under his breath, “Idiots.” Though it was soft, Jin heard him as he let out a soft giggle.
“Let’s get you something to eat, okay?”
Planting a quick kiss on Jin’s neck, Kame entered the kitchen, with the small Jin in his arms.
This was Day 2 of Toddler Jin.

A\N: I seriously have no idea how to continue this piece. It always gets stuck whenever I want to write it. Started long time ago and look what date it is now, July 2007. ^.^;;; Well I’ll just have to admit that I’m not good at writing crack stuff, I’m more talented in the Angst & Fluff department. Well enjoy!~
