Should we keep some of the transfer carts empty and stationed by the elevator? If we are taken by surprise it would help us to mobilize more quickly.

Good plan; I'll start leaving them there. I have a cart for Apple's animals, too, if he needs it- it has cages on it.

Good to know. I'll help rig up a moveable rope barrier so anyone who missed the entry doesn't get the idea that they're up for grabs.

You are awesome. Have I told you that lately?

What further warning signs should we anticipate, aside from the Watch/Guard announcement?

They can be heard moving in the tree usually- which is what makes this time so strange. And the past couple of years, there have been scouts before the main swarm arrives.

Do you mean we have seen more than one occurrence of giant ant attack before?

Yes. It's happened twice since I've been here, and I've been here two and a half years.

They're late, if they're on their way. If you guys end up needing anything from the shop, let me know!

At least you'll be harder to get at if you run into one, from the sound of it.

Yeah, the past two times they came a month ago...

I am definitely well-padded. Maybe I can squish them.

You'd have to jump on them a few dozen times to squish them, I think. But I bet you could give them a headache if you headbutted one!

Oh, that's a good point. Or at least knock them on their backs.

Okay, if we're helping with the evacuation and stuff, I can round people up if you need me to.

Also, do I get a weapon? Because I still haven't got enough saved up for anything good, and I found this dumb water pistol lying around the house but I don't think that counts.

Sounds good to me!

There's plenty of stuff around the Yard that can be cleaned up, if you need a weapon. Or swingining a pipe around could work, too...

Yeah, but I mean a good weapon. Most of the stuff in the Yard needs some serious fixing...
