He blinks, and sniffs a sleeve, before making a face. "I guess I do. You have to break up the cloves of garlic when you plant it, and you're bound to squash a few no matter how careful you are."
"Garlic gets planted in the fall, and harvested the summer after," Daniel says, nodding. "It's really a simple crop- just leaving it be works better than most things. Bit of weeding, a little fertilizer..."
