Les is in the Wasteland, sitting at a table with pencil in hand. He appears lost in thought. It's a little late, but he's working on his New Year's Resolutions; so far he has one.

1. Find/build a working computer.

Hmmm.

Better late than never, as they say.

McKinley casts a slightly uneasy glance around the Wasteland as he enters. His brief, abortive attempt at scavenging earlier today ended when he realized how cold and dark it was growing. So he came back here, which is close, and ... well, he doesn't have anything to trade for blood, at the moment. So he looks a little lost.

He smiles when he catches sight of Les.

"What are you doing there?"

[lesper]

He looks up, blue eyes widening as he recognizes McKinley.

"New Year's Resolutions," says Les. He smiles. "Sit?"

And pushes out the chair across from him -- carefully -- with a sneakered foot.

[bodymyblood]

"Certainly," he says with a nod, and does.

Peering in interest in the direction of Les' resolutions.

"That sounds like a good idea," he adds, thoughtful. "I've yet to make any of my own."

[lesper]

"Ummm." Les passes the scrap of paper over. "Maybe you should. Any ideas?"

[localhandywolf]

And the rumour on the streets is the Les is okay, for a vampire, and thus Armand peers over at him.

[lesper]

It takes Les a while to notice (he's a little slow . . . ), but eventually he does, and looks up.

"Hey," he says absently; starts, seeming to see Armand for the first time.

Slightly worried, "You all right?"

Les gets up and heads over to Armand.

[localhandywolf]

"Pretty much." There is a glare at the walking stick, not nothing much more.

[lesper]

He raises his eyebrows. "Pretty much?"

[sew_on_wolf]

By some amazing chance, a vicious wolf has managed to get above Les's head. It judges its distance, glances down at its grounded counterpart, and leaps.

[lesper]

:O!!!!!

Les, unsuspecting, is knocked out of his chair by the vicious wolf. He lands on the floor with the vicious wolf on his chest; squeaks; realizes that he knows this vicious wolf, and promptly throws his arms around it in a fierce hug.

"Hey, you!"

Gavin snuggles deeper into Les's arms as Felicia runs up and licks his face.

Shay watches with amusement.

[lesper]

"Oh my God," says Les, laughing. "You're growing so fast!"

As, apparently, he is covered in vicious wolves, he does not notice Shay . . .

[bass_line_blues]

Preston ambles over.

"Hey, Les."

[lesper]

"Preston," says Les. "What's up?"

[bass_line_blues]

"Actually, got a favor to ask, if you wouldn't mind."

By which Preston means: I can't pay you anything, but I would owe you an unspecified favor to be called up later. Barter is convenient.

[lesper]

"Sure. Whatever I can do to help."
