Jenny's not been to the Wasteland in a while. She's been... around. Mostly at the museum, hanging out with the dinosaur bones.

But she's here now.

The smell of moonshine has kind of taken the Wasteland.

Which probably explains why when Russ enters the bar, lighting a cig, it takes him a minute to notice Jenny.

Cue a muttered "Aw, fuck."

Jenny's head snaps up when he comes in.

She sighs a little, somewhere between bored and frustrated and wistful, and raises an eyebrow before turning back to her glass.

Russ returns the look. In spades.

And might make a point of passing near her table on his way to his own table.

"Hi, Russ," she says, cheerful enough that it crosses over into sarcasm.

Kay is sitting in a darker corner sketching out things that she wants to put on skin. A detailed alpha wolf, an eagle with a broken wing, a gothic cross.

She glances up and smiles.

Jenny notices the drawings, and looks rather intrigued. She takes a cautious step or two towards Kay's corner.

"Hey," Kay says.

She moves to clean up, "Did you need the table?"

"Oh, god, no, sorry," Jenny says, stepping back hurriedly. "I was just looking. Ignore me. I'll go away."

"Hi, Thorn."

Les smiles at her easily, pulling up an adjacent seat.

Jenny beams at him.

"Hey, Les. What's up?"

[lesper]

"Oh . . . things are chill."

[meet_the_thorn]

"Good," Jenny says, still grinning at him. "Me too, basically."
