Jenny's sitting on the edge of the stage, heels drumming absently, looking happy, but rather warily so.

Though really, it's the happy that's out of the ordinary.

She's being watched by a young woman. Nothing out of the ordinary, and neither is Chammy - tall, slender, pretty, but she's shy and quiet enough that people tend to overlook her.

Still.

Quietly, her voice sounding awfully Southern,

"Are you the girl who is staying with Claire?"

"Yeah," Jenny says, surprised. "Jesus, does everyone know about that now?"

A sudden smile.

"Maybe. I know because she told me, though. I'm Charmaine, a friend of hers. Been looking out for you."

[meet_the_thorn]

"Oh," Jenny says, and relaxes considerably. "Awesome. Nice to meet you. I'm Thorn, though I guess you know that."
