Preston is sitting on his futon, clinging to in the presence of his bass.

There is also alcohol on his other side.

There is also someone stealing his alcohol with a bandaged arm.

But it's Shay, so it's all good.

Preston takes in Shay, and her burned arm.

Generously: "You probably need that more than I do."

"That's what I'm thinking."

She eyes him concernedly.

"And how'd you turn out?"

So Gwen never actually got her shower.

What she got is a good sponging-off in the kitchens, as well as the best hair-washing she could achieve in the sink. (Also a change of clothes. Those emergency clothes really were a good idea.) Now that she smells less like smoke and more like soap, she's ready to face the world.

Or at least that part of it that hangs around in clubs after everybody else has left.

Salla has returned!

And he comes bearing a leather jacket/duffel bag full of tequila (and Tequila, the one eyed tom cat) and whiskey!

Fuck soot, he's got booze! And a kitty!

"If I can have some of that, I'll sleep with you," Claire says. She's not blinking.

He shoves one of the mini tequila bottles at her and keeps Tequila the cat far out of Claire's reach. "Yours, yours."

Claire downs it in two shots, the alcohol hitting her hard and fast. (The benefit of anemia is it takes much less to get drunk, and bloodbloodblodd singing with the song of head rush and difference)

Her body visibly relaxes, alcohol working out the kinks that she'll wait until later to have someone knead.

"Thanks."

Jenny's tucked back in a corner, her tent put away and her sleeping bag spread out.

She's eyeing everyone a bit warily. She does that a lot.

Preston offers Jenny a smile from his futon, once he's looked up from his bass for long enough to notice her.

Jenny waves and smiles, just a little, rather selfconsciously.

Preston glances at the tent, and tilts his head, with a note of inquiry.

Clearly, Jenny came well-prepared.

Claire is not spending the night. But two of her guys have passed out on a cleaner table and the walk back to the Museum seems too far right at this moment.

Plus, they're still drinking blood. She needs more energy, and low blood levels always hurt more after a lot of work.

"Your guys," remarks Russ, strolling up, "are passed out over th--"

He stops, and his lip curls as the immediate scent of blood hits his nose.

"They're tired," she says. "It's been a long day."

She takes a sip of blood, glancing up at him over the rim.

"We've had a long day, too, Russ."

The not-quite-snarl relaxes a little, but not completely.

"Yeah. Just makin' sure you knew."
