Jon was surprised and relieved to see his whole family in the vicinity of Summerfell; the Hound's helmet, wrapped in his shirt, was under his arm, and his face was pink with the effort of having mostly run here from the compound

Ned looked at Jon with a frown. He had never seen Jon this agitated, and almost a little... scared? Whatever Jon had wrapped in that bundle under his arm, it was something dangerous, and Ned was not entirely sure he wanted to know what it was.
With a quick sideways glance at Rickon (deciding again that whtaever this place was, it necessitated perhaps Rickon growing up a bit faster than me might have at home), he said, "Show us then, Jon, and have out with it."
Jon looked at Rickon as well, then at Arya, who he knew would likely be most angered by this news... taking a corner of the shirt in one hand, Jon pulled it up and unrolled the helmet onto the dirt before them.
"A friend of mine had it," he said quietly. "He's seen him... Clegane. He's seen the Hound. Here."
Rickon just wanted to know what that thing wrapped in Jon's shirt was. And a helm was definitely not something he expected at all. He crouched to take a closer look and then he registered what Jon had said.
"The Hound?! The big and..." He opened and closed his mouth several times in disbelief. He'd never seen the Hound, but the stories conjured up a face for him well enough.
It was only a matter of time, really, before someone from their world showed up they were less interested in seeing. Robb had known this, subconsciously, and up until how had successfully avoided giving it any actual thought.
But there is Clegane's helmet, lying on the ground in front of them.
"How did he get here," he asks Jon seriously, "do you know?" And how is it we all missed him?
