I've never written Itachi before, so I'm trying to be as careful as possible about keeping him IC. (Well, IC for the situation, as both he and Sasuke haven't faced the tragedies their canon selves have, so they are comparatively much more expressive/dynamic...)

I love your Itachi characterization a lot--it feels like he cares about Sasuke and his family very much, but at the same time, he's the same genius manipulator we all know and love. <3

Sasuke was great, too. Completely annoyed, and the narrative voice was wonderful--and I'm totally starting to ramble now. XD
