And what a surprise it was...

I left work and thought my car had been stolen.  The fact that I found it in a totally different parking spot that I had left it actually raised more questions than it answered.  I'm still not sure of the How, the Why, or the Who involved but here is what I do know ( Read more... )

I was amused when you knew what I was talking about last night when I asked if you'd taken your medicinal semen.

Wow. Just...wow.

I guess "prank" is the best guess...I mean, with a pickup you can tow a car a short ways without damaging anything. Just throw a chain with hook around the bar under the car, and start driving the pickup. This could explain the poor parking job...I imagine it's not too easy to aim.

But why would anyone do that??

Frankly, if the car hadn't been moved, I'd guess some teens snuck in to have sex/do drugs.

Is it possible someone actually HIT your car, pushing it into another space?

No damage to the car at all. And the car was on the opposite side of the lot, yet still in plain view. I hadn't thought of that, but I had thought of looking for a place to smoke illegal substances without being easily caught.

Still, moving the car just to smoke illegal substances without being easily caught seems stupid -- I mean, what's more noticeable? Smoking in a car? Or dragging a car across a parking lot?

Oh! I have an idea! Do you have an emergency key on a magnet under your car (or in your car)? If you do, maybe they took it to DRIVE to WalMart, and then brought it back.

No, there is no emergency key.

We share the same parking lot with Walmart.

where do you leave your keys? could it have been a co-worker? I leave my keys on top of my desk often where I suppose if anyone paid attention they could get them off there and replace them. It would be hard to do, but possible. Weird...maybe you hae a dual perosnality who likes walmart and binging on reeses cups...hmmmm auto fairy?

If I didn't leave my keys in my winter jacket, I would suspect that as well. But they didn't have access to my keys and yet did have access to my cell.
