I just learned the other day that Ursula Vernon is T. Kingfisher.

That's right!

T.Kingfisher is her pen name for grownup stuff, while Vernon is what she writes kidlit under (it certainly makes sense to split those up!). But then she often writes things that are sort of in the gray area -- kidlit shaped stories that are too dark for publishers to want to market to kids -- and so I can't always recall what certain books of hers are published under. And I think some of her early work predates the T.Kingfisher pen name and is thus also under Ursula Vernon, even though it's not for kids? It's definitely confusing!
