You're very welcome! I believe it was included in the back of some special editions of Lies Sleeping, so reading it after that is probably the best time (although I don't think it includes any spoilers for the book).
The Dresden story was very sweet! And reminded me that I do miss the universe. It's been WAAY too long!
I enjoyed the MRK a lot -- and it was also a less depressing read than I'd been expecting, so that was nice.
I've read only one Jo Walton novel so far -- Philosopher Kings -- and, hmm, "appreciated" is probably a better word than "enjoyed" for how I felt about it. I also started and want to push myself this year to finish My Real Children, which, ditto. But it seems like I find it much easier to read (/hear) Jo Walton talk about books than to read her own fiction.
Possibly what this means is that I should read Among Others, which will have fiction AND books? It's definitely something I'd like to get to!
The King's Peace and The King's Name are among some of my favorites ever. Beware the first opens with a rape, but it's not gratuitous and definitely drives the plot.
Tooth and Claw is regency dragons, so it's a blast too.
Oh, yeah, I definitely want to read the regency dragons one!
The King's Peace and The King's Name I actually haven't heard of before! Wiki says they're an Arthuriana riff -- are they really? I tend to bounce off Arthuriana, but the blurb doesn't make the first book sound terribly Arthurian...
The story is definitely in Brief Cases, but it originally came from a short story book called Shadowed Souls, which I had totally bought just for that story way before Brief Cases

Did you read the short story with Molly going to Alaska yet as her first duty as the winter lady?
[if you didn't, I don't want to accidentally spoil you with what I want to say]

I haven't! Where was that one?
And, yeah, I thought the foreshadowing was very intriguing!
