Fandom Stocking, Snowflake Challenge, and other ways of avoiding real life

I'm trying to hide from real life: L's big test is tonight, and I'm trying to walk the line between making sure she's focused and prepared and taking it seriously and... psyching her out past a point of usefulness. I'm not sure I'm doing a very good job of it. (I would be much less nervous if it were ME taking the test... XP)

I read a lot of fantastic books because of you. :D You've also linked to several fics and pieces of fanart over the years that I've enjoyed as well.

How did L feel about the test when it was over? (A three hour test at her age? SHEESH!) When will you find out the results?

I am always thrilled when you pick up a new series from my recs :)) (And you've definitely reciprocated plenty -- both for me and for the rodents :D)

L felt she did fine, but mostly she was just tired. There are really long tests... and the catholic one was 4 hours long with only a couple of minutes of breaks. Crazy!

My answer is the same as last year (Discworld - which I've only read 4 - 5 books from, but I am enjoying going through the books at my own glacial place!), but I should also mention that you have increased my liking toward a lot of minor ASOIAF characters, such as Walder Frey and of course, Leonette Fossoway (by virtue of you knowing that she is, in fact, a character). :D

Also, all the hamster graphics are too freaking cute. Nicely done!
