This is actually a Reading Roundup post, but since today is Talk Like a Pirate Day, certain duties must be discharged:

Ooh I'm glad you read Gunnerkrigg Court! I've been following it ever since a friend rec'd it to me, probably a year and a half ago or so? I love Annie and Kat's friendship. They're pretty much adorable together. The older generation intrigues me too. I wonder what was up with all that.

And that's really awesome that Surma means "antimony"; I guess that was some pretty significant foreshadowing right there. o_o

Yep, I'm pretty much hooked, and just need to decide now if I want to try and follow page by page or go back periodically to read a bunch of pages at once. It seems to be the sort of thing that lends itself better to the latter, but I need to figure out how to make myself not forget in that case.

I guess that was some pretty significant foreshadowing right there. o_o

Yeah! I thought the name sounded like the Russian word for a chemical compound right away, but I wasn't sure what compound it was until I looked it up, at which point the life-force connection thing had already been revealed.
