I couldn't hate Quinn because he was so obviously just a detour on the highway to Sookie/someone else. Like, he is in, what, five of the nine books, but it seems like Harris will go to almost any trouble to make sure he doesn't spend almost any time with Sookie, because they are so BORING together. Zero chemistry. Like, OK, the dude's a frickin' tiger. How do you make that boring??
