I haven't read The Graveyard Book yet so I only skimmed your review. I don't know why I keep forgetting about Neil Gaiman when I put books on hold. Totally inexplicable since I really love his writing. I'll have to remember to do a search and see what our library has that I haven't read yet next time I'm browsing for books.
I love Howl's Moving Castle and am sort of torn between which I love more, the book or the film. Miyazaki took a lot of liberties with the book but I really love some of the changes so, like I said, I'm torn. This is very unusual since I usually hate it when they change something drastic from book to film. (Elves at Helm's Deep, Faramir character assassination...)

Oh, yeah, I'd kind of forgotten there was a movie, too. I should remember to check that out.

(And I so hear you on the Faramir character assassination -- the only thing I can't forgive the movies for entirely. The Elves at Helm's Deep strike me as pointless, but don't actually bother me.)
